Sponsors (Families)

A sponsor is an individual authorized to drop off and pick up a child participating in the Child Care Subsidy Program (CCSP) at a child care program. Common examples of sponsors include parents, grandparents, siblings, and neighbors. This page and its resources are specifically for sponsors who will use a provider's tablet (KinderSign) or their own mobile device (KinderSmart) to enter attendance in PASS. Sponsors who attend a site using KinderBridge (i.e., a site that is continuing to use a child care management system such as Procare or Brightwheel) should follow their provider's instructions on entering attendance and not use the guidance on this page. Consult your provider regarding how they will connect to Child Care PASS, and which attendance entry method is applicable to you.
